- Complete the structural organization of the Federation particularly the two departments of Economic Directorate with its ordinates units to ensure realization of Federation objectives and main task.
- Development of the database that already existing at the Federation into private sector information bank, that meet the following needs regarding :
- Size and contribution of private sector to the economy: production, employment and investment at both sector and sub-sector levels
- Size of the private sector investments
- Market and business trends
- Business prospect and opportunities
- Labor market trends and private sector share in the total employment.
- Annual job opportunities created by the private sector on sub-sectoral basis
- Share of the Palestinian products in local markets
- Export based on the Certificate of origin (direct export to Countries other than Israel
- Size of the business community in the area of each chamber and relatively concentration of the economic activity in the area of each chamber
- Death and birth rate of business in the area of each chamber and at the nation level
- External market and Palestinian expatriate business
- Potential neighboring and foreign markets for Palestinian products.
- Export procedures and requirements.
- Expatriate Palestinian business in selected countries
- Roster of international experts in the area of interest to local business e.g. international marketing, equipment maintenance.... etc.
- Roster of private supporting agencies
- Vocational training.
The federation as key member in the steering committee training and development of the human resources and social partner (Tripartite) with the Ministry of Labor and Trade Unions and based on what has been achieved so far regarding training and upgrading skills of the of employers and work force as essential to improve the productivity. The federation therefore intends to expand the unit that already established to include training in the field of management, production and marketing. Such unit will be invaluable to mobilize the chambers network assess the needs of their business community in the field and consequently to develop a national strategy accordingly and coordinate activities and possible support to address such needs depending on the chamber network for proper outreach.
