The Federation is intended to serve as an umbrella organization and chain link between the fourteen constituent chambers; and by extension the Palestinian business community and the Palestinian National Authority. In doing so, the Federation provides a forum for views and opinions of the country private sector .The overall aim is to promote the economic development in general and private sector in particular. Meanwhile the Federation maintains close ties and regular contacts with the PNA relevant ministries. The Federation supports the ability of individual chambers to represent and serve the interests of their business constituencies.

The Federation task is to help rebuild and restructure constituent chambers to enable them to cope with the needs of their members and the requirements of the new stage. Such task is enormous and requires a lot of vision, planing, reorganization and restructuring in order to get back to the right track. The Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of which the chambers are members is taking a leading role in this process supported Palestinian Authority.
