This present study aimed at knowing the training needs at the establishment working in the Hebron district, in order to know closely these needs and to hold training courses for workers at these establishments with the cooperation of a team of local and international experts to upgrade the economic sector in the Hebron district.

In order to achieve the aim of this study, the research team prepared a questionnaire to know the needs of the workers at the various establishments. This was done after discussing the questionnaire with a number of referees. This questionnaire was administered to a selected sample from the registers of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce & Industry. There were 343 establishments that included the various economic sectors in the Hebron districts. After collecting the data of the study, they were reviewed and entered into the computer to carry out statistical packages program SAS.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: -

The majority of the individuals of the sample emphasized that there is an urgent need to train workers at their establishments.

They emphasized that these needs include both the technical and administrative aspects.

The majority of the individuals of the sample emphasized that they prefer time in the evening to hold these training courses.

The training orientation among males in the individuals of the sample was more than that among females.

The results of the study indicated that the English language level among the majority of the individuals of the sample wishing to join training sessions weak.

As to the most prominent training needs of workers at the various establishments, the following sessions were in the forefront of these needs arranged according to important courses pertaining to photography, business administration, English language, machine maintaining, safety courses, goldsmith, shoe making, hydraulic, accounting, computer, Hebrew language, electronics and the ISO .as to the level of these courses, the individuals of the sample were divided into these equal parts: a part wanting the level to be beginning level ,another part wanting an intermediate level and the third part wanting an advanced level.

The results of the study also indicated that 49% of the individuals of the sample had joined previous training courses in various subjects to increase their experience and their professional awareness. The majority of these courses were original by private bodies. The means of the number of the training hours of these courses was 56.02 training hours.

The research team recommended the necessity of cooperation by training institutions together in holding these urgent training courses.
