The total area of the Gaza Strip , is estimated to be 360 km^2 of which 177 km^2 (49%) is used for agricultural production . More than 40.000 people are employed in this economic sector among the 1.1 million population living in Gaza Strip. The annual agricultural products of the Gaza strip is as follows :

The flowers are of several kinds of which the stander Carnation constitute of 90% . There is also other kinds of flowers of such as : Solidago flower, Aster flower, Gypsophilla flower, and Sunflowers .

As well, the fruits are of several kinds of which the most famous and exportable are strawberry, Guava, and citrus of all kinds, Orange, Grapefruit, and lemon.

And of the vegetables there is Cherry and Fine Cherry Tomatoes, Eggplant, Green Paper, Cucumber and Potatoes .

The Gaza agricultural products are famous world wide and Gaza exports exceeds USD 100 million dollars . Some is exported through an Israeli company called AGRISCO to Europe and the United States Of America . The rest is exported directly to Europe ( western and eastern ) and to the Arab countries like Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states through Jordan .The rest of the production is marketed in the local market in Gaza , the West Bank and in Israel .

The production process is using the most advanced and modern production technologies regarding the water systems, the efficient use of land and harvesting .
