1-Trade Agreements

USA and the PNA signed a trade agreement giving products “ Made In Palestine “ duty and quota free access to the US markets. To take this advantage of this agreement , products should be either wholly grown in the West Bank & Gaza or need to be substantially transformed with a local value-add-on 35% . This agreement provides companies exporting to the US with a major comparative advantage , since it is more favorable than FTA’s such as NAFTA or CBI .

EU and the PNA , providing Palestinian products with duty -free access to the EU market . Israel and the areas under the PNA ,provide investors with the option to produce in both areas and to move semi -finished goods from one area to the other without taxes .

IFTA and the PNA has recently signed an agreement that provide Palestinian products a duty and access free to the IFTA countries mainly agricultural and Agro products .

JORDAN and the PNA have signed a trade agreement that allows certain Palestinian products to be exported to Jordan with no duties, other products with partial duties and taxes .
